A Private Profile

An advanced career doula and doula mentor, Nicky began as a solo doula in 2008 and today serves families as an independent concierge doula across Florida's Gulf Coast and well beyond. She is certified through ProDoula as a Birth and Postpartum Infant Care Doula, and she has previously held certifications through DONA International and IPPA. Through every chapter, one thing has held constant: her devotion to parents and their children through the first years of a family's life.

Her training is as broad as her experience. Well-rounded in birth, postpartum and newborn care, Nicky is trained as an Advanced Pediatric Sleep Coach through Summer's Sleep Secrets, holds current certification in CPR, first aid and AED, and teaches those same skills as an American Red Cross instructor. She is now preparing for her IBCLC certification, the highest credential in lactation support, under the guidance of her mentor, and plans to sit for the exam in 2027.

Families enjoy working with Nicky for daytime postpartum infant care, overnight newborn care, live-in care and travel support. She has a firm understanding that every family is special and should be supported uniquely, and she adapts seamlessly to different parenting styles and family dynamics. Her focus is the early years of family life, from the newborn weeks onward: nurturing parents as they find their footing, caring for the baby through the night so the family can truly rest, and laying a calm foundation for feeding, routines and sleep.

She prides herself on her natural ability to be warm and nurturing while staying professional and discreet, holding space for the most vulnerable time in a family's life and holding confidentiality to an unmatched level. Her calendar is intentionally limited, so that each family she accepts receives her full attention.
